Our Story
Wild Hair Entertainment started in 2013 with a simple goal: help venues create nights people genuinely enjoy—and want to come back to.
After one show, someone came up and said, “I didn’t realize how much I needed to laugh until right now.” That moment stuck. Not because of the compliment, but because it summed up what happens when a comedy night really works. The room relaxes. People settle in. For a couple of hours, things just feel better.
That’s the experience we build. We produce live comedy events, workplace programs, special productions, and fundraisers that are paced well, run smoothly, and feel right for the room they’re in. Nothing forced. Nothing awkward. Just solid comedy, done with care.
Wild Hair is led by headlining comedian Sonya King, who’s spent more than two decades onstage across the U.S. and abroad. That onstage experience shapes everything we do.
